# Roulette Secret to Beat the Game

Roulette is one of the most well-played games in the casino’s gambling floor. It’s very common to find tables that are so crowded by people who are obviously enthusiastic about the game, feeling the thrills and excitement in this ironically simple game of chance. The thing is that roulette has high winning odds, and all this exhilaration comes from the mere anticipation of a win.

### Roulette’s Primary Draw

The high probabilities of winning roulette is actually what has drawn millions to roulette tables and online roulette casinos worldwide. How come then, that roulette is considered easy to win despite its notoriously high house advantage? The answer lies on the even-money betting option present in roulette.

Even-money refers to bets that have fifty-fifty chances of winning. In roulette however, it does not exactly mean a full 50%. All of roulette’s even-money bets cover numbers that comprise half of the table, except for the green 0. As 0 is also included in the roulette wheel and therefore always has the chance to come up in a spin, this reduces the winning probability of even-money bets by around 2.7%.

### Are Strategies the Secrets to Winning Roulette?

Still, many people would like to discover the roulette secret of exploiting even-money bets to their favor. They’d often find the secret of beating roulette in roulette strategies and systems. There are currently five that are most commonly used, and further modified in this quest to find the enigmatic solution to win the game.

The first is the Martingale, which features a negative progression, that is, the bet is increased – doubled, to be more specific – after a loss, then reset to the initial bet after a win. This is followed in popularity by the D’Alembert, a safer system that follows a negative progression as the Martingale, but only requires a single unit of increase and decrease. Another popular roulette strategy is the Labouchere, or cancellation, which is backed by a solid mathematical theory and often viewed as complicated due to how it is described on paper.

Other popular – though less used than the aforementioned – strategies are the Paroli and the Fibonacci. The former, also known as the reverse Martingale, follows a positive progression, wherein the bettor increases his or her bets by one unit after a loss and doubles it after a win. The latter meanwhile, has a progression based on the Fibonacci sequence, directing the player to increase the bet to the number that follows it in the sequence after a loss, then decrease it to the number two integers before it after a win.

However, are these strategies the true roulette secrets that can beat the game? The answer unfortunately, is a glaring no. They can’t truly beat the house at the game for even these strategies, however effective, are still subject to chance. They retain the same win-lose probability of roulette, although the rate of getting rich or going bankrupt depends on how fast these strategies are played out.

So what then is the roulette secret that can win the game? Well, the answer is simply to have fun. What else can you do then? Roulette is random and it will never change from being that. Enjoy and simply accept the fact that the game can never be beaten unless Lady Luck is by your side.
